New York City...get ready to rock & roll this holiday season with THE HIT MEN, a dynamic group of legendary 60s, 70s and 80s musicians who've worked with Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Carly Simon, Elton John, Barry Manilow, Carole King, Tommy James & The Shondells, Sting, Paul McCartney and more!

On Saturday, December 13 at 8PM at the Tribeca PAC (199 Chambers Street), THE HIT MEN will offer a special holiday concert, providing an entertaining, nostalgic and truly unforgettable concert-going experience...a HIT MEN show is like no other as the audience takes in the magic & the songs these musicians created on stages around the world and in recording studios with some of our most cherished musical artists. Combining the music & the memories alongside exciting multimedia footage & visuals, on 12/13 you can expect to hear a mix of iconic & classic tunes like Who Loves You and Silence is Golden and unique holiday arrangements of some of our most beloved seasonal songs such as Santa Claus Is Coming To Town and Jingle Bell Rock. Tickets are $35-$45 and can be purchased online at tickets.tribecapac.org or by phone at 212-220-1460.

And beginning today, THE HIT MEN's Holiday Hits, a new album featuring an assortment of festive tunes, is available for purchase online at www.CDBaby.com for $9.99 (digital version) and $12.99 (CD). The perfect gift for any music lover, THE HIT MEN's Holiday Hits showcases some of our favorite seasonal songs blended with a little bit of rock & roll like you've never heard them before: a few standout tracks are Santa Claus Is Coming To Town (with an energetic Four Seasons inspired arrangement); a gorgeous a capella version of The Christmas Song with exquisite 5-part harmonies; an R&B version of Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You; a beautiful rendition of the John Lennon anthem Happy Christmas (War Is Over); and Christmas Time Is Here (from the popular 60s TV special "A Charlie Brown Christmas").

THE HIT MEN are also set to offer several other concerts in December across the country including ones in New Jersey at the Bergen PAC (on 12/11), in Baltimore, Maryland at the Peabody Conservatory (on 12/5), in Florida at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center (on 12/7), and at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado (on 12/12).

The founder of THE HIT MEN, Lee Shapiro, was one of Frankie Valli's celebrated Four Seasons in the 70s as music director, arranger & on keys performing hits like "Oh, What a Night" & "Who Loves You." Gerry Polci, drummer with Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, also sang lead vocal on their biggest hit, "Oh What a Night"; he was the only Four Season to sing a lead on one of their hits aside from Frankie. After decades behind the scenes, these immensely talented artists united to form THE HIT MEN, a brotherhood of musicians whose friendships date back nearly 50 years:

Lee Shapiro (musical director & member of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons), Gerry Polci (drummer/member of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons), Jimmy Ryan (founder of The Critters, lead guitarist with Carly Simon for 21 years; has worked with Cat Stevens, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger), Larry Gates (Carole King, Phoebe Snow), and Russ Velazquez (4-time Emmy-nominated composer; has worked with Sting, Carole King & The Ramones). When THE HIT MEN take the stage today, it's easy to see why their music has transcended generations as they connect with audiences on a level rarely seen by today's music acts.
