The Drifters Perform on New Year's Eve at Stoneham Theatre

Stoneham Theatre continues its Season 16 Special Event line-up of stellar concerts and entertaining comedy acts with The Drifters on New Year's Eve.

Performing favorite Motown melodies, Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll legends Eric Turner*, Robert Wiggins*, Andre Reina*, and J.J. David* will sing over 50 years of memorable hits. Celebrate the start of a new year with hit songs like "On Broadway," "This Magic Moment," and "Under the Boardwalk." Stoneham Theatre will provide party hats, noise-makers, and a complimentary glass of champagne to ring in the New Year.

Sponsored by Boston Partners Financial Group LLC, The Drifters present two performances on December 31, 2015 at 7pm and 10pm. Tickets are $60 Standard, $65 Premium, and $75 VIP. Ticket availability is limited. There is no Press Opening for The Drifters.

Next in the Special Event line-up, celebrate Valentine's Day at Stoneham Theatre with We've Only Just Begun: Carpenters Remembered from February 12-14, 2016. Led by Michelle Berting Brett and accompanied by a live, 4-piece Nashville band directed by Harry Sharpe, the show re-creates the Carpenters' original sound. Experience an intimate behind-the-scenes portrait of the pop music phenomenon that defined an era, and sing along to hits that include "Close to You," "Yesterday Once More," "Rainy Days & Mondays," and many more!

We've Only Just Begun: Carpenters Remembered runs for three performances: Friday, February 12, 2016 at 8pm; Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 8pm; and Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2pm. Tickets are $45 Standard, $50 Premium, and $60 VIP. There is no Press Opening for We've Only Just Begun: Carpenters Remembered.

The final Special Event in Season 16 is the return of audience favorite, Loretta LaRoche from May 13-14, 2016. Loretta will give you the tools you need to not only reduce feelings of tension but also bring joy, passion, and gusto to your life. Loretta's Life Is Short: Wear Your Party Pants will give you dozens of proven techniques for recognizing the ten simple truths that will lead you to an intense, happy, successful life: resilience, living in the moment, optimism, acceptance, humor, creativity, moderation, responsibility, meaning, and connection. As Loretta says; "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift- that's why they call it the present."

Loretta LaRoche runs May 13-14, 2016. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 2pm. Tickets to Friday's Senior Matinee are $40. Tickets for Saturday are $45 Standard, $50 Premium, and $60 VIP. There is no Press Opening for Loretta LaRoche.
