The Dig Share New Single DON'T STOP RUNNING Via Earmilk Image

Following a recent move to Los Angeles, CA from Brooklyn, NY, indie-rockers The Dig are rolling out a series of tracks about starting new chapters and making a new life. The newest single from their upcoming Afternoon With Caroline EP, "Don't Stop Running," is out today and can be heard now at EARMILK. They call the track a "banger that takes inspiration from '70s soul-pop," and go on to add, "A warbly mellotron keyboard lets listeners know it's okay to rest easy on this carefree joy ride that comes equipped with wispy call and response vocals that envelop our ears with idyllic summer imagery. A dazed and floral chorus make way for satisfying chord changes and feel-good melodies that soothe the soul." Afternoon With Caroline will become Side B of a special edition 12-inch LP due out October 19, 2018 via Roll Call Records, with the band's recently released Moonlight Baby EP as Side A. Consequence Of Sound announced the two EPs earlier this year, debuting the title track for Moonlight Baby and praising its "dreamy vocals." Additionally, Paste Magazine shared details about the full LP, along with the "synth-laden" lead single from Afternoon With Caroline, "Million Dollar Man," which Magnetic Magazine named one of the "15 Best Indie Tracks Of July 2018."

Recorded at Outlier Inn in upstate New York, the band-produced EPs were mixed by the late-Richard Swift (Nathaniel Ratliff, The Arcs) and Andrew Sarlo (Big Thief, Nick Hakim), and the LP packaging will have four double-sided inserts making eight interchangable cover options based on the single artwork from each EP. Moonlight Baby / Afternoon With Caroline is available for preorder now HERE, and leading up to its release, fans can follow along as the band continues adding new singles to their growing playlist, El Dig: A Year of Music.
