The Brother Brothers on NPR Mountain Stage, Playing SXSW Next Week

The Brother Brothers are featured on this week's episode of NPR Mountain Stage performing songs from their recent release, Some People I Know on Compass Records. The program is broadcast on more than 240 NPR affiliates nationwide - click HERE for stations and airtimes. The Brooklyn-based indie folk duo have become a streaming sensation, garnering over 500K monthly listeners on Spotify and fervent attention from playlists including Spotify's Fresh Folk, Infinite Acoustic, and Front Porch; Amazon's Brushland and YouTube's Coffee Shop Blend.

Some People I Know, the Brother Brothers' debut full-length, has brought the duo acclaim in Rolling Stone Country, NPR, Billboard and more for its lyrical intregity and evocative blood harmonies. The band spent the bulk of 2018 on the road with Folk Music Awards' Artist of the Year I'm With Her, and have scarcely rested since. In 2019, they've sold out shows in Los Angeles and Chicago, toured with folk darlings Dead Horses and Mipso, dazzled audiences at Folk Alliance International in Montreal and been selected as official showcase performers for SXSW.
