Australian totalitarian beard-based rock band The Beards have had to regrettably cancel their upcoming Beards Across America Tour of USA & Canada. The entire tour was cancelled after U.S. Immigration denied the band performance visas. The U.S. consulate is yet to give a reason for the refusal, but its decision has made it legally impossible for the band to play in the U.S. and logistically impossible for the band to tour Canada later this month.

Full refunds will be issued to all ticket holders, please contact the point of purchase or venue for more information.

"We want to sincerely apologise to all of our fans in North America," said frontman Johann Beardraven. "We were devastated to learn that our visas were refused. We will be appealing the decision and if it is overturned, we will return to America and Canada to play shows as soon as we possibly can, but unfortunately we've had no choice but to cancel this tour."

The band will be using every available resource to appeal U.S. Immigration's decision.
