With event headliners ranging from bluegrass to reggae, rock and roll and EDM the ARISE Music Festival will feature nationally recognized performers Beats Antique, Galactic, Groundation, The Infamous Stringdusters, Keller Williams, The Polish Ambassador and rising star, Nahko and Medicine for the People along with the Everyone Orchestra featuring a round house of ARISE's main performers improvising on one single stage as Matt Butler leads the group as their conductor.
Continuing with its sui generis methodology, the event's eco-centric programming will also include a special performance of stories and songs with the legendary folk artist Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul & Mary fame. Part music festival, part well-being symposium, the ARISE Music Festival offers much more than four stages of music as part of the festival ticket. With a lineup that reads like the who's-who of natural health and eco-activism, the three-day camping event will feature diverse workshops ranging from medicinal herb walks to African drum classes, belly dance instruction and a full schedule of yoga classes offered throughout 100-acre festival grounds.
Set in an up-cycled landscape provided by visionary artist Bruce Campbell, the family-friendly ARISE Music Festival promises to provide a gorgeous array of natural-born visuals to accompany the fun. The festival has opened its gates to a number of local and regional artists who will be featured either live artists or in one of the many ARISE art galleries. Attendees can also look forward to visiting a number of arts and crafts booths, food vendors and sample some of Colorado's finest craft brews and organic beverages.
To round out the music component of the event, the festival will also feature a number of performances scattered throughout the festival landscape including specialty coffee shop performances and open mic jams, theme camps presentations and live music in the yoga tent to accompany your asanas.
The festival is fit for all ages with camping options for families and specialized kids programming each day, including a kid-friendly sing along with Peter Yarrow in the Sunrise Dome on Saturday with favorites "Puff in the Magic Dragon" and "Blowing in the Wind". Camping options include walk-in or car camping, upgraded VIP options as well as luxury glam-camping provided by The Show Sherpa.
