The biggest ever Terminal V party The Rising fast approaches, and now the final list of world class names can be announced for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend event. Playing in the vast Royal Highland Centre will be more cult names from the vanguard of house, disco and techno including:
Mr G, Tama Sumo, Daniel Avery, Andrew Weatherall, Horse Meat Disco, Derrick Carter, Green Velvet, Maceo Plex, Mall Grab, Kobosil, Young Marco, Objekt, Philipp Gorbachev, Frazier and Stephen Brown.
The DJs are not the only stars of the show, as Terminal V events are known for their out-of-this-world production: this one will feature no fewer than five stages, which includes three brand new indoor and covered outdoor stages to be announced very soon, plus high tech lights and lasers that take you to the next dimension, giant speaker stacks deliver the music with clarity and force, and visuals that add another immersive element to the whole experience.
These latest names for what is set to be the UK's biggest Bank Holiday event come on top of plenty of already announced stars: they don't come more influential than techno great and Minus boss Richie Hawtin, who is joined by new school hero and Paradise Ibiza resident Patrick Topping, plus the devastating Ukrainian techno powerhouse Nastia and the visceral and vital German star Helena Hauff who draws on EBM, wave and industrial, all of whom have turbocharged sounds that are designed for non stop dancing.
Heading up the latest wave of names are raw dub house star Mr G, cult Berlin selector Tama Sumo and drone techno innovator Daniel Avery plus the long time electro legend Jennifer Cardini. There will be chugging macho disco from the legendary Andrew Weatherall, colourful disco from London's acclaimed Horse Meat Disco, epic sounds from Green Velvet, powering house and techno from Maceo Plex and Chicago vibes from Windy City mainstay Derrick Carter.
Next to this is upcoming star and warehouse specialist Mall Grab, a sure to be masterclass in eclecticism from Dutch favourite Young Marco, blistering fusions of Idm, techno, breaks and electro from Objekt, pacing techno from Berghain regular Kobosil and more across the board from Philipp Gorbachev, Frazier and Stephen Brown.
Says promoter Derek Martin, "The response so far has been amazing and we are now very pleased to announce the 3rd wave of acts adding an another dimension to the event and new stages. The festival has quadrupled in size in two years!"
Simon McGrath adds, "We feel the complete lineup definitely covers all the bases we'd set out to achieve, introducing new stages has really given us the opportunity to book so many more great acts and add so much more depth to an already strong event."
Over 10,000 people make Terminal V parties the sort of communions you don't forget easily, so act quick before another one sells out.
