Tegan and Sara will kick off a series of headline dates on June 7 with a show at The NorVa in Norfolk, VA. The band is touring in support of its eighth studio album, Love You to Death, which was named as one of the best albums of 2016 by critics at Paste, NME and numerous other publications. Tickets for the tour are on sale here. Vagabon and Japanese Breakfast will open on select dates. See below for itinerary.

The band will also be playing festivals from coast to coast this summer, beginning with Boston Calling on May 27, San Francisco's Colossal Clusterfest on June 4 and Bonnaroo on June 10. Tegan and Sara have been tapped to headline Day 2 (June 24) of Pride Island, the biggest live music event in New York City Pride history. The new, three-day LGBT cultural experience will take place on Hudson River Park's Pier 26. Tegan and Sara will also perform at Bonnaroo, Pemberton, Lollapalooza, Osheaga and The Meadows.

Twin sisters born in Canada, Tegan and Sara have sold over one million albums, and have received seven Gold certifications, one Double Platinum certification, three Juno Awards, two Polaris Prize nominations and a GRAMMY® nomination. They have performed on some of the world's biggest stages, from the 2015 Oscar Telecast to major festivals, such as Coachella, Lollapalooza and Glastonbury.
TIME pronounced Tegan and Sara "bona fide pop stars" and Buzzfeed predicted, "the stars are aligned for them to become two of the biggest names in pop."Stereogum observed, "There are not a whole lot of great, carefully written pop songs about the intricacies of adult relationships. Love You to Death has 10 of them." Love You to Death is the follow up to Tegan and Sara's breakthrough 2013 album, Heartthrob, which contained "Closer" - a multi-format hit that has been certified Gold in the U.S. and Double Platinum in Canada.
Tegan and Sara have been openly gay from the beginning of their career in 1998, and have been outspoken feminist advocates for LGBTQ equality and gender justice. As an extension of their work, identity, and commitment to supporting and building progressive social change, they founded the Tegan and Sara Foundation in 2016. The organization works for economic justice, health, and representation for LGBTQ girls and women.
