The Madison Square Garden Company announced today that Tedeschi Trucks Band will return to the Beacon Theatre for six nights in 2019 as part of their multi-year, dual city residency at The Madison Square Garden Company venues, one of the company's most unique bookings to date. The 2019 Beacon Theatre shows will be presented by Live Nation and will take place on September 27 and 28, and October 1, 2, 4 and 5. Tickets for all six shows will go on sale on Friday, April 12 at 10:00AM. One dollar from each ticket sold will be donated, via Tedeschi Trucks Band, to the Kofi Burbridge Music Matters Fund.

Support for the October 1 show will be the Capital Sun Rays featuring Luther Dickinson, Amy Helm, Birds of Chicago and Grahame Lesh. The October 2 show will include an appearance by John Moreland for support.

Tedeschi Trucks Band's 2019 dates at the Beacon Theatre mark year two of the unprecedented five-year residency, during which the band will play six or more shows at The Beacon annually, in addition to three or more shows annually at The Chicago Theatre.

"It is such a testament to the strength of Tedeschi Trucks Band's connection to their audience that they can make this unique residency a reality," said Darren Pfeffer, executive vice president, MSG Live. "These shows are another example of the types of unique, world-class entertainment options that The Madison Square Garden Company offers at our venues - from intimate theaters like The Beacon to The World's Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden."

"We've been touring hard with this band for almost 10 years now. When you play that many shows they can start to run together, but The Beacon shows always stand out," says Trucks. "That room is special for us and holds a lot of great memories. Nobody holds back. We put it all on stage."

"Signs" - the band's fourth studio album - was released this February to widespread praise. Rolling Stone called it "electrifying," the Associated Press dubbed it "an inspirational album for the times," and NPR Music declared the album an "instant classic," saying, "honesty and authenticity...informs every second of 'Signs.'"

Since their first performance at The Beacon in 2011, Tedeschi Trucks Band has played more than 30 shows at the venue. The Beacon residency offers the talented 12-member group an opportunity to explore an especially large range of musical territory - often exceeding 100 different songs across the six nights. Guest sit-ins have also made the run special. Recent years have featured surprise appearances by Norah Jones, Trey Anastasio, Nels Cline and Ravi Coltrane, among others.

While legacy acts such as the Allman Brothers Band and Steely Dan made the Beacon Theatre their home for multi-night performances, Tedeschi Trucks Band represents the next generation, pushing the envelope nightly with a loyal fanbase that looks forward each year to their run at the iconic venue.
