Talib Kweli Debuts New Video Ft. Rick Ross & Yummy Bingham

Talib Kweli is back with his newest video for his latest single, "Heads Up Eyes Open." With features from Yummy Bingham and Rick Ross, the song and video touch on themes of spirituality, media misrepresentation, and police brutality. Talib Kweli Premieres "Heads Up Eyes Open"

Kweli reflects on what the album means to him, and his mindset when creating it, "I wanted to create an album that showcased my growth as a musician and I feel I've done that whether people understand its vision or not... This is not an album that owes its inspiration to an aesthetic, this is the sound I heard in my head."

Radio Silence speaks directly to Kweli's desire to never be silenced. Working on the album on and off for four years gave him a perspective that he hadn't had before, he saw himself grow in new directions. The song, which was produced by J Rhodes, is brought to life in the video that juxtaposes two man's lives and their trials and tribulations that come with doing the right thing and grappling with what it means to be successful.
