Taj Mahal and Keb' Mo's first ever album as a duo, TajMo, has been nominated for a GRAMMY Award in the category of Best Contemporary Blues Album. They are also scheduled to perform a track from this historic project at the GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony on Sunday, January 28, which will announce GRAMMY winners in more than 70 categories.

TajMo, released on May 5, 2017 via Concord Records, marks a once-in-a-lifetime convergence of the talents of two unique American artists who've already built significant individual legacies that have consistently expanded and extended American blues traditions into astonishing new territory.

TajMo debuted at #1 on the Current Blues chart and held that position for four weeks. The album and subsequent tour were also the subject of extensive critical praise:

Taj Mahal has been recording and performing his unmistakable blend of blues and world music for over 50 years, winning multiple GRAMMYS and collaborating with the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and more along the way. Keb' Mo', who has often cited Taj as one of his musical heroes, is a 3-time GRAMMY Winner who has collaborated with everyone from Bonnie Raitt to Jackson Browne and Buddy Guy. Keb' has also performed at multiple Crossroads Guitar Festivals and at In Performance at the White House: Red, White and Blues in 2012.
