Today Chrysta Bell, revered Twin Peaks actress and longtime musical partner of David Lynch, releases a new track titled "Undertow" via AWAL/Kobalt Music Recordings. Chrysta Bell explains, "Intense and stormy relationships can suck us in like the oceans undertow. Against intuition and better judgment, we allow ourselves to be taken by the waves. Is it masochism or simply surrender to the siren's call and the full experience of life? In the end, the consequence is the same. Caught up, overcome, and willing to dive in all over again." The track was co-written by Chrysta Bell and Christopher Smart and produced, recorded and mixed by Alex Silva (Manic Street Preachers, Suede, Nelly Furtado). Stream "Undertow" Here

Chrysta Bell recently announced US and European tour dates (dates below). She received widespread critical acclaim in the role of FBI Agent Tamara Preston in 2017's return of Twin Peaks on SHOWTIME. This summer she released her sophomore album, We Dissolve, a pop record with elements of soul, rock and jazz, featuring contributions from guest artists including Adrian Utley (Portishead), keyboardist Geoff Downes (Asia, Yes) and drone metal guitarist Stephen O'Malley of Sunn O))). The album was recorded in Bristol, UK, with Mercury Prize-winning producer John Parish (PJ Harvey's Let England Shake). See below for a full tour itinerary.

Chrysta Bell's professional career as musician began after being signed by RCA Victor at the age of 18 as the lead vocalist for the popular Austin-based gypsy swing act 8 ½ Souvenirs. In her four-year tenure with the band, Chrysta Bell delighted audiences on many North American tours and shared the stage with legendary musicians such as Willie Nelson and Brian Setzer. Chrysta Bell released her debut, This Train in 2011 and her acclaimed EP, Somewhere in the Nowhere, in 2016 - both written and produced by David Lynch.
