The groundbreaking and iconic rock opera TOMMY by The Who is on its way back to disc and digital download in a new Super Deluxe Edition packed with bonus materials, including cut songs, demos, outtakes and featuring a brand new surround sound edition of the iconic 1969 "Amazing Journey" tale, as well.
Since its debut in 1969, TOMMY has been seen onstage in venues large and small - including opera houses - byway of its creators, legendary UK rock band The Who, as well as in a big screen Hollywood version in 1975 and a hit Tony Award-winning Broadway adaptation in 1994.
According to a new advertisement posted on the band's official Facebook page, The Who's TOMMY: Super Deluxe Edition includes the following:

Of note, The Who's TOMMY looks likely for a stage revival sometime soon, as well, particularly given the recent success of original Broadway director Des McAnuff's restaging of the musical at the Stratford Festival earlier this year in Canada, a production which is subsequently rumored to transfer to the US next year.
