Audra McLaughlin, a finalist on THE VOICE Season 6, released her single "Put On Pink" in honor of October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. "Put On Pink" is an anthem dedicated to each and every woman fighting an uphill battle, but more specifically, the war against breast cancer.
Inspired by two of her aunts that survived breast cancer, Audra's "Put On Pink" praises the courage and confidence that exists inside anyone willing to muster it up. Audra reminds us that our greatest strengths can be born from our most crippling moments, and more often than not, our battle armor looks prettier in pink.
Audra sings about the power of pink and its ability to turn supporters and survivors alike into warriors, armed and ready to overcome even the most monumental obstacles. "Put On Pink" tells us to look fear in the face, and instead of letting life kick us down, make sure it kicks us forward.
