Raquel Castro, who appeared in her first role as the daughter of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez in their movie, JERSEY GIRL, has released her new hit single, "Diary." Castro was a finalist in NBC's THE VOICE.

Castro will be hosting her single release party at XL Nightclub & Cabaret Lounge's Rockit Fridays on April 13th.

"Diary" is written by fellow NBC's THE VOICE contestant, Alyssa Bongagura, and producer/songwriter, Ted Bruner (Katy Perry, Jesse James, Miley Cyrus). Originally a pop-country song, Raquel worked with producer J. Chris Griffin (Madonna, Kanye West, JoJo) to infuse the track with her own style. Of the rewrite she says "...I turned it into more of a Rihanna style song musically while keeping a Taylor Swift story feel. I feel as if I have finally found my voice with this song."

"Diary" is currently available on iTunes. More original music is soon to come from Castro as she is currently focusing on recording her debut album.
