The Hershey Community Chorus, in association with The Hershey Symphony Orchestra, The Hershey Symphony Big Band, and The Hershey Figure Skating Club will be presenting "The Sights and Sounds of Christmas - A Hershey Celebration" on Sunday, December 15, 2013, at 2:00 pm in The Hersheypark Arena. The program will include a familiar holiday musical assortment and the much-loved audience sing-along of the "Hallelujah Chorus", in addition to new music, choreography and costumes. Michael Weiss, US champion and Olympic figure skater is the featured guest star for this year's performance. Michael is the first American to land a quadruple toe loop in competition, and is the only skater to perform the Tornado, a back flip with a full twist, which he created. While this move is not allowed in competition, it is a crowd favorite in his exhibition skating.

Last year's show drew an audience of almost 4,000, and the reception was so enthusiastic that the Chorus, the Orchestra, the Skating Club, and the Big Band decided to make this an annual holiday tradition. Highlights from last year's performance can be viewed on YouTube at this link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PAp34YoGUc.

Tickets for this year's show are now available by calling 508-4400 or emailing requests to info@HersheyCommunityChorus.org. Tickets are also available at The Giant Center Box Office or on-line thru TicketMaster. Adult admission is $20.00 for premium seating, $15.00 for standard seating, and $6.00 for children, ages 6 to 11. Children 5 and younger are admitted free with parent or guardian.
