THE HUDSON PROJECT has expanded the line-up for the inaugural event (July 11, 12 and 13 at Winston Farm in Saugerties, New York) with the addition of more than 20 acts to a bill led by Kendrick Lamar, Bassnectar, Modest Mouse and The Flaming Lips. The first-year festival will offer concert-goers the ultimate fusion of more than 85 genre-defying musical acts performing on four stages, all set against the backdrop of the magical Catskill Mountains. Additions to THE HUDSON PROJECT line-up include STRFKR; Four Tet; 12th Planet; Action Bronson; Felix Cartal; French Express Presents: Moon Boots, Perseus, Jonas Rathsman, Isaac Tichauer, Henry Krinkle; Jacques Greene; Bit Funk; Widowspeak; Three; Exmag; Nick Catchdubs; Nostalghia; Tumbleweed Wanderers; and Woody's Produce.
Building on the sense of camaraderie synonymous with modern and historic music festivals, THE HUDSON PROJECT has just announced a new Group Camping option which offers festival-goers guaranteed adjacent camping spots. To reserve a group camping spot, each group needs to establish a leader, create a group camping name and password and then register the group at http://hudsonmusicproject.com/group-camping/. Once the group has been created, everyone in the group can sign in using the password to purchase a group camping ticket for their specific group. When the required minimum number of campers--12-15 for a small group or 25-28 for a large group--have purchased tickets, a spot in the special group camping area will be assigned. Only groups that hit a minimum of 12 or 25 people will qualify for Group Camping; if the group does not reach the minimum number of people by Tuesday, July 1, the group will be cancelled and all group members, excluding the group leader, will be refunded. The group leader is responsible for the first group camping space ticket that is NON-REFUNDABLE. A limited number of these spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additional details can be found on the group camping page: http://hudsonmusicproject.com/group-camping/.
