As they look ahead to the release of their new album, Santa Cruz, CA-based reggae-rock-punk band THE EXPENDABLES this week premiered a new music video for "Music Move Me" and debuted another new song "Anti Social." Both tracks are off their sixth full-length studio album SAND IN THE SKY (Stoopid Records), out Tuesday, January 13. THE EXPENDABLES are also getting ready to hit the road on their annual "Winter Blackout Tour," taking the quartet to over 40 cities across the U.S. from January 23 through March 15.

Earlier this week (12/8), Vevo.com premiered the music video for their new track "Music Move Me"; check it out now here. The video showcases the band's fun-loving, comedic spirit and pairs perfectly against the infectious, buoyant rhythm of the song. "Music Move Me" isavailable now as an instant download for those that pre-order the album via iTunes (HERE), as well as "Starry Night," another new song from SAND IN THE SKY.

THE EXPENDABLES--Geoff Weers (guitar/vocals), Adam Patterson (drums/vocals), Raul Bianchi (lead guitar) and Ryan DeMars (bass)--have also teamed up with DeliRadio to offer fans an advance listen of "Anti Social," streaming now here. The song features a special cameo byEd Hernandez and Keith Douglas from The Mad Caddies on horns.

"We wanted to share 'Anti Social' now, before the album release, because it represents our punk influence; it's a different side to us than 'Starry Night' and 'Music Move Me,'" the band explains. "The song is about our observations on social media. We've seen how people go on there to flaunt their 'coolness' and whatever. It seems that unless you're blowing up Facebook or Instagram that you aren't being 'social.'"

SAND IN THE SKY--mixed by Butthole Surfer guitarist and legendary producer Paul Leary (Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, U2, Weezer) and co-produced by THE EXPENDABLES and Gordon Brislawn--marks the follow up to their 2010 full-length album Prove It (Stoopid Records), which debuted at #4 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart and #30 on the Independent Chart, and 2012's acoustic album, Gone Soft.

"We are beyond excited to finally release Sand In the Sky," the band shares. "We know our fans have been waiting for new music and we can't wait for everyone to hear it! Go grab 'Starry Night' for free to hold you over until January and then get ready for us. This year's 'Winter Blackout Tour' is going to be insane and we're stoked to come to your city and rock your faces off!"

About The Expendables:
Since forming in Santa Cruz, CA in 1997, The Expendables have staked their claim in the California inspired surf/rock genre with a sound all their own that blends reggae, punk rock, metal and 80s-style dueling guitar solos. During the first seven years of their career, the band of four longtime friends released three full-length albums (2000's No Time To Worry, 2001's Open Container and 2004's Gettin' Filthy) completely independent, selling a combined total of over 40,000 units with no physical distribution or record label. In 2007, the quartet signed with Stoopid Records--a new independent label formed by Slightly Stoopid--as the label's first non-Stoopid release, after touring alongside the band and catching the attention of founders and front men Kyle McDonald and Miles Doughty. Their first release on the label, the self-titled The Expendables, became an instant classic by fans and received critical praise. Following their support run on 311's Summer Unity amphitheatre tour, The Expendables went straight to the studio to record 2010's Prove It, which was produced by Butthole Surfer guitarist Paul Leary (Meat Puppets, Sublime) and NOFX's El Hefe and features guest appearances by long-time friend G. Love plus various members of Slightly Stoopid. In 2012, the band changed things up and released an all-acoustic album called Gone Soft. Now, they are ready to get fans rocking with their new full-length studio album Sand In the Sky (January 13, 2015). In addition to their own annual Winter Blackout Tour, many other headlining tours and a summer on the Vans Warped Tour, The Expendables has shared the stage with artists such as NOFX, Less Than Jake, Slightly Stoopid, Pennywise, Pepper, 311, Steel Pulse and The Madd Caddies, among many others.
