Today (November 18), THE CRYSTAL METHOD kick off the next chapter of their storied musical legacy with the brand new single "Over It" featuring Dia Frampton. The track just hit iTunes and all digital retailers, and it cements the groundwork for the release of the duo's anxiously awaited self-titled fifth studio album, THE CRYSTAL METHOD, in stores January 14, 2014. The album is available for pre-sale via their official web site (www.thecrystalmethod.com) until December 10.

Touting an immersive aural backdrop, scorching synths, and elegantly explosive beats, "Over It" sees THE CRYSTAL METHOD's Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland once again ignite the dance floor like only they can. The pair have teamed with one half of Meg & Dia andSeason 2 finalist of NBC's The Voice, Dia Frampton, for a track that yields sizzling chemistry between pop and dance music. Dia's voice entwines with THE CRYSTAL METHOD's signature production for an intoxicating sonic concoction. The music video for "Over It" will make its world premiere on VEVO November 27.

In other news, THE CRYSTAL METHOD were recently tapped to create the score for Emmy Award-winning executive producer J.J. Abrams' [Fringe, Lost, Star Trek] new sci-fi series, "Almost Human." It proves a landmark moment for the genre as this is the first time an EDM leader has been sought out to score a major network television show. The twosome crafted a propulsive, powerful, and potent score that enhances the show's tense narrative and mind-blowing action. "Almost Human," which made its debut last night (November 17) airs Monday evenings on Fox at 8pm local time starting tonight, November 18.

In order to properly herald the arrival of THE CRYSTAL METHOD, the pair will perform a very special Los Angeles concert on their album release week (January 16, 2014) at the El Rey Theatre. Playing live for the first time with a full band, the duo will be joined by various guest vocalists appearing on the new record, making for a once-in-a-lifetime show.
