Sunflower Bean Release New EP, 'King of the Dudes' Image

New York trio Sunflower Bean released their critically acclaimed sophomore album Twentytwo in Blue last year, earning year-end list nods from the likes of Paste, NME, Rough Trade, Newsday, and more. Now the band is kicking off 2019 strong with the release of their incredible new EP King Of The Dudes. The EP features lead single "Come For Me," which has made "Best Of" lists from the likes of The FADER, Consequence of Sound, DIY, and Paste, and marks the band's Billboard BDS Chart debut, coming in at #37 at AAA. Pre-order King of the Dudes, produced by Justin Raisen (Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX, Angel Olsen) and out January 25th, 2019 via Mom + Pop, HERE.

Sunflower Bean will play a sold-out EP release show in Los Angeles tomorrow night at Bootleg Theater, just before embarking on their tour with Interpol. The band also will support Courtney Barnett on a few dates before playing at Governor's Ball in NYC. See below to find a show near you, and get your tickets HERE.

Sunflower Bean began recording King of the Dudes this past summer in Los Angeles following the release of Twentytwo in Blue earlier this year. The band explain, "This EP does not give a f. It's reactionary, and a sharpened response to our times. Death, birth, aggression, addiction, and power. Twentytwo In Blue allowed us to find our strength and on King Of The Dudes we use it, no holds barred."
