Sunflower Bean Announces Tour With Interpol Image

New York trio Sunflower Bean released their critically acclaimed sophomore album Twentytwo in Blue via Mom + Pop earlier this year, debuting in the Top 40 in the UK as well as hitting #5 on Billboard's Top New Artists chart. The album has also earned Best Albums of 2018 nods from the likes of Paste, and been dubbed one of the "greatest New York albums of all time" by NME. Since their record's release, the band have been touring extensively with both international and stateside sold out shows, upcoming performances at Voodoo, Pickathon, East River Park SummerStage, and XPoNential, and another EU/UK and Asia tour when their current headline run wraps. Sunflower Bean will continue to bring their impressive live show on the road this Fall supporting Interpol, and tickets are on sale now. See below to find a show near you, and get your tickets.

Sunflower Bean released Twentytwo in Blue earlier this year, when all members were 22 years old, and almost two years and two months after the release of their 2016 debut album Human Ceremony. Co-produced by Unknown Mortal Orchestra's Jacob Portrait (who also mixed the record) and HC-producer Matt Molnar of Friends, Twentytwo in Blue shows Sunflower Bean stay true to their guitar band core and classic rock-inspired roots, while exploring new sonic textures with more direct and progressive themes. Unlike their debut, which was essentially a compilation of songs Sunflower Bean wrote while still in their teens, Twentytwo in Blue was made in the year between December 2016 and December 2017 and showcases how far the band has come since playing together in their high school days.
