City Parks Foundation's SummerStage is in full swing, with a diverse lineup of programming taking place all across New York City. For the most up-to-date scheduling and lineup for all SummerStage programming, visit www.SummerStage.org for all festival information.

On Sunday, July 22, bonafide R&B crooner, actor, and hitmaker Ginuwine will perform at Staten Island's Corporal Thompson Park. He will be joined by Staten Island's own The Ladies of Pink Diamond and DJ Stacks. This free show is from 5 to 7 PM.

On Wednesday, July 25, Alonzo King LINES Ballet will return to SummerStage for the first time since 2003. This internationally celebrated contemporary ballet company has been guided since 1982 by the artistic vision of Alonzo King. The San Francisco based company is celebrating their 35th anniversary season, and will perform "Sand" with music by jazz artists Jason Moran and Charles Lloyd, and "Biophony", a collaboration with natural soundscape artist Bernie Krause and composer Richard Blackford. This free performance will take place in Central Park from 8 to 10 PM. Doors open at 7 PM. On Tuesday, July 24, Ballet Master and former company dancer Meredith Webster will teach an Alonzo King LINES Ballet Master Class. This intermediate to advanced level class, in partnership with Ailey Extension, is $30 and will take place at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, located at 405 W 55th street.


SummerStage will start its run in the Bronx's Saint Mary's Park on Thursday, July 26. Judy Torres, known for her '80s freestyle staple "No Reason to Cry", will take the stage. She will be joined by TKA, a trio of fellow freestylers and Grandwizzard Theodore. This free show will take place from 7 to 9 PM

Also on Thursday, July 26, Old Crow Medicine show will perform in Central Park. The Grammy Award-winning six-member string band is known for their classic American folk and roots music. This performance, produced by The Bowery Presents, will take place from 6 to 10 PM. Doors open at 5 PM. Tickets are $39.50 - $45.00.

On Friday, July 27, popular Bronx-based drum and dance troupe Bombazo Dance Co. will showcase their traditional Afro Puerto Rican Bomba, Afro Carribbean, and traditional folkloric stylings in Saint Mary's Park. They will be joined by Latin fusion dance company The Sabrosura Effect. This free show is 7 to 9 PM. A pre-show dance workshop from Alvin Ailey's Revelations Celebration Community Workshop will take place at 7 PM.

On Saturday, July 28, Bronx-born producer, DJ, and artist Pete Rock will perform in Central Park. He will be performing a special set with the Soul Brothers, an ensemble of some of the best and brightest in jazz. He will be joined by rising soul star Hannah Williams & The Affirmations plus Operator EMZ. This free show is from 3 to 7 PM. Doors open at 2 PM.

Also on Saturday, July 28, the two-time Grammy Award winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra will perform in Saint Mary's Park. Since their inception in the early 2000s, the group has collaborated with luminaries such as Ruben Blades and Paul Simon. This free show is from 4 to 7 PM. A pre-show performance of "The Big Good Wolf" from CityParks PuppetMobile will take place at 4 PM.
