Stromae Announces North American Tour Dates

Global superstar, producer, and singer-songwriter Stromae will make a welcomed return to North America this spring with a string of live dates including appearances at SXSW Festival in Austin, TX and Coachella Festival in California.

In continued support of his critically acclaimed sophomore release "Racine Carrée" (Casablanca Records), Belgian-born Stromae has also confirmed he will be headlining shows across the west-coast in April - leading up to Coachella - then returning this fall for an east-coast tour (tickets go on-sale 03/14) which includes a headlining show at the legendary Madison Square Garden on October 1st (full list of dates below).

Hailed by The New York Times as "one of the few contemporary musicians to directly evoke Europe's ambient moroseness" with "an eclecticism that has earned him critical praise," Stromae has received praise from the world's most respected critics including America's The New Yorker, NPR, Billboard Magazine, Time Out Magazine, amongst many others. Since his last sold out North American tour Stromae has sold more than 3.5 million albums worldwide, with his breakout single "Papaoutai" breaking the 230-million mark on YouTube/VEVO, also reaching #1 on iTunes in 18 different countries.
