Since finishing up their worldwide tour, Streets of Laredo have been fervently writing the follow-up to their 2014 release Volumes I & II. In the meantime, they connected with renowned producer John Agnello (Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr.) for their newest gem of a track "Diamonds" which just premiered on Noisey. "My experience working with Streets of Laredo was nothing short of beautiful. Considering it was the first time we worked together, there was a great flow to the recording. I've become a huge fan of the band as artists and people" said Agnello. You can listen to and share the song on Soundcloud.

This week Streets of Laredo will be hitting the road again and playing a select few American dates with their homecoming taking place at Governors Ball. After that they will be hunkering down to record their sophomore effort, due out early next year. Check out the tour dates below. Founded by close-knit family members Daniel, Dave and Sarahjane Gibson and inspired by the fervour and madness of the 70's folk-rock circuit, Streets of Laredo was born out of trying to escape the mundane everyday working life. With just one home-town show under their belt, a handful of demos and a whole lot of hope, they took the plunge and decided to move halfway around the world. Fast-forward to the summer of 2012 and Streets of Laredo in a rehearsal space in Brooklyn NY with a guitar, a drum-machine and no money, trying to figure out what comes next.Links
