Steve Madden, the man behind one of America's favorite fashion brands, will be front and center at SXSW in Austin, TX, bringing together style and music with two showcases beneath the brand's continually expanding music program, Steve Madden Music.

Friday March 18, 2011 marks Steve Madden Music's opening showcase Live at Stubb's BBQ from 8PM - 2AM, consisting of performances by Walk the Moon, The Vaccines, City and Colour, Airborne Toxic Event, Scala & Kolacny Brothers and OMD. Between the iconic location and enticing lineup, the showcase is buzzing as one not to be missed. Admission is open to those with SXSW wristbands and/or badges.

Steve Madden Music has partnered with Grooveshark for its second event on Saturday March 19, 2011, hosted by industry personality, Allison Hagendorf. Attendees will rock out to performances by Nicole Atkins, Matt Nathanson, Eliza Doolittle, Raveonettes and Funeral Party live at The Cedar Street Courtyard from 9PM- 2AM. Admission is open to those with SXSW wristbands and/or badges, but those who RSVP are eligible for a V.I.P upgrade which includes a Steve Madden swag bag, 1 year Grooveshark Anywhere subscription and a free drink.

Steve Madden himself will be in attendance at both events and available for interviews along with the showcases' talent.
