International EDM star STEVE AOKI has joined forces with world-renowned drummer Travis Barker of blink-182 fame to release a special remix of theTravis Barker & Yelawolf track "Push 'Em" August 13 on Dim Mak Records. Officially dubbed Travis Barker & Yelawolf - "Push 'Em" (Steve Aoki & Travis Barker Remix), the reworked version highlights Barker's raw and rapid-fire drums and combines AOKI's next-level production skills to create a monster electro head banger built equally for EDM and punk shows alike. The original version of "Push 'Em" was featured on the Travis Barker & Yelawolf 2012 collaborative EP Psycho White.
The accompanying video remix of the new track,
which premiered onRollingStone.com earlier this week, mashes footage from the original "Push 'Em" visuals featuring

"Travis Barker is hands down my favorite musician to work with," AOKI tellsRollingStone.com. "Whether it's original material like we did on 'Misfits' or 'Cudi the Kid,' or doing this remix for his group. . . [Barker] has the best vocal samples to use for a stomping club record." "It's always interesting for me to work with live drums and my kicks and snares that I generally use, so it was a fun one to remix, especially with Travis' flow," AOKI adds. "And this song is in triplets, so drum rolls and unique drum work is a must. You get the hip-hop swagger, punk attitude and bass in yo' face."
"The song had such a crazy energy/angst as it was," adds Barker, "and I could just imagine how Aoki could flip it. [His remix] gives the song the nastiest bounce I would've never expected."
In conjunction with the release of the new single and video, STEVE AOKI's Dim Mak apparel line and Travis Barker's Famous Stars and Straps clothing brand are releasing a collaborative special edition T-shirt. The design features the perfect combination of the Dim Mak and Famous Stars and Straps images with a skeletonized AOKI rocking the Dim Mak logo on his luxurious locks and a mohawked
