Legendary jazz-rock icons Walter Becker and Donald Fagen have announced that STEELY DAN will hit the road again in 2013, taking their Mood Swings: 8 Miles To Pancake Day Tour to over four-dozen stops throughout North America, including Omaha's Orpheum Theater on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets priced $128, $88, and $62.50 go on sale to the public, Monday, May 6, at 10:00 a.m. They can be purchased through Ticket Omaha by calling (402) 345-0606, online at TicketOmaha.com, or at the Ticket Omaha box office located inside the Holland Center on 13th & Douglas streets (open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 12 to 5 p.m.).

Buyers beware: Ticket Omaha is the only authorized ticket vendor for Orpheum Theater and Holland Performing Arts Center performances. Tickets purchased from other sources will be more expensive with higher handling fees and carry no guarantee of delivery or being honored by the venue for admission to the performance.

Onstage, Fagen and Becker will be joined by those same eight brilliant supporting musicians, now appearing as The Bipolar Allstars (featuring Keith Carlock, drums; Freddie Washington, bass; Jim Beard, keyboards; and Jon Herington, guitar), along with The Borderline Brats - three sublime, soulful songbirds. Together, they will treat audiences to selections from The Dan's extraordinary four-decade catalog, rich with infectious tunes, bodacious harmonies, irresistible grooves, and sleek, subversive lyrics, punctuated by blazing solo work and rich ensembles. As always with the adventurous Fagen and Becker, a few surprises may be in store as well.

STEELY DAN has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and helped define the soundtrack of the '70s with hits such as Reelin' in the Years, Rikki Don't Lose That Number, F.M., Peg, Hey Nineteen, Deacon Blues, and Babylon Sisters, culled from their seven platinum albums issued between 1972 and 1980 (including 1977's groundbreaking "Aja"). They reunited in the early '90s, launching a string of sold-out tours. In 2000 they released multi-Grammy winner (including Album Of The Year) "Two Against Nature," and released its acclaimed follow-up "Everything Must Go" in 2003. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
