Steely Dan is giving their fans another incredible opportunity to hear the band delve deep into its three-decade-plus discography, as Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Walter Becker and Donald Fagen have announced a seven-night residency at New York's Beacon Theatre beginning on Sept. 30, 2013. Following previous multi-night stands that earned rave reviews in 2009 and 2011, Steely Dan will stage complete performances of several classic albums in their entirety, along with selected hits and fan-requested favorites. The Beacon Theatre shows will cap the Mood Swings: 8 Miles To Pancake Day Tour, which launches July 19 in Atlantic City.

Tickets will go on sale to the public on June 22 at 10 a.m. EDT, and can be purchased through Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster.com or charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000. If tickets remain, they will be available at The Beacon Theatre box office starting on Monday, June 24 at 11 a.m. EDT. American Express Cardmembers can purchase advance tickets beginning Mon. June 17 at 10 a.m. EDT through Fri. June 21 at 10 p.m. EDT. Live Nation and Beacon Theatre presales also begin on June 21 at 10 a.m. EDT and run through 10 p.m. EDT. Onstage, Donald and Walter will be joined by their eight brilliant supporting musicians, now appearing as The Bipolar Allstars (featuring Keith Carlock on drums, Freddie Washington on bass, Jim Beard on keyboards, and Jon Herington on guitar), along with The Borderline Brats - three sublime, soulful songbirds. Together, they will treat audiences to selections from The Dan's extraordinary four-decade catalog, rich with infectious tunes, bodacious harmonies, irresistible grooves, and sleek, subversive lyrics, punctuated by blazing solo work and rich ensembles.

Concertgoers can expect an evening of the same high-level of musical excellence that was described by the LA Times thusly: "Everyone gathered Friday evening was a believer - and they were treated to something close to rapture." The New York Times printed, "(Steely Dan is) a latter-day jazz big band tweaking a cherished repertory... freed from studio permanence, reveling in the road." The Chicago Sun-Times raved, "This was different. This was live. This was vibrant."

Steely Dan has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide and helped define the soundtrack of the '70s with hits such as "Reelin' in the Years," "Rikki Don't Lose That Number," "F.M.," "Peg," "Hey Nineteen," "Deacon Blues," and "Babylon Sisters," culled from their seven platinum albums issued between 1972 and 1980. They reunited in the early '90s, launching a string of sold-out tours. In 2000, they released multi-Grammy winner (including "Album of the Year") Two Against Nature, and released the acclaimed follow-up Everything Must Go in 2003.
