One of the East Coast's most seminal hip hop figures, Statik Selektah, drops 8, his 8th studio album, out today. The 18 track LP showcases Statik's range as a producer and a DJ and includes an epic array of high profile collaborations including 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Action Bronson, Joey Badass, The Lox, Westside Gunn, Conway, and late rappers Prodigy and Sean Price.

Born in Lawrence, MA in 1982, Statik was exposed to production equipment at a young age and by middle school he was already DJing school events. At age 14, he purchased his first set of turntables and a mixer, starting to work clubs and parties, making a name for himself in the East Coast hip-hop scene.
