Pianist and composer Stan Tracey has been at the heart of British Jazz since the early 1960s. With foundations set in the rich music of Monk and Ellington, Tracey, well-known for his popular Under Milk Wood, is now famed for his unique piano style.
This exciting, one-night-only, concert will travel through the decades of Tracey's music and promises to be a beautiful and exciting evening. The programme features a supercharged Octect, plus duo/trio sets from his latest album Soundcheck which The Guardian has described as his ‘best collection in years'.
