Carly Rae Jepsen and Owl City has teamed up to make the video of their hit single "Good Time". Jepsen is the "it" pop star of the moment that is known for her hit single "Call Me Maybe". "Good Time" is also Owl City's first single after releasing his album "Fireflies" three years ago.

The song is the lead single from Owl City's recent album "The Midsummer Station" which is due this fall. Adam Young told MTV, "So often the final product, the final result sometimes never exceeds the expectation. For me, this has happened, and here I am with Carly Rae and it turned out so, so good. So for me, it's a total dream come true."

Like Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" song which resulted in mash-ups, YouTube remakes, memes and other online, viral what-not's nowadays kids are putting out on the web, "Good Time" is also getting the same treatment. One of the latest to jump on the bandwagon is a young singer songwriter from Salt Lake City, UT named Taylor Olson. Her Good Time cover featuring Nik Day and Ryan Margetts can be viewed on YouTube.

Taylor writes and performs her own original music, but is finding that posting YouTube cover videos is a useful way for her to find an audience. Her previous cover of Taylor Swift's "Safe and Sound" is approaching 300,000 views.

The Good Time original is a promising single which was released last June 26, 2012. It has generated a lot of positive reviews. It is the prefect song to follow up the catchiest song ever "Call Me Maybe". In this song, Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen have meshed their musical talents giving a super summer pop single in the form of "Good Time".

The world is taken by storm by this song, a result of Owl City's Adam Young and Carly Rae Jepsen. Good Time is already all over the radio and considering that Carly is the pop star of her infectious summer #1 single "Call Me Maybe" and Adam Young is the singer of his hit single "Fireflies", it wouldn't be a surprise that "Good Time" is also a smash hit.

Don't expect a clone of "Good Time" from Taylo Olson's cover version. Taylor Olson prefers to put her own twist on any cover she performs. In this case Olson has put a acoustic spin to the pop hit and with Nik Day, his voice and hers compliments each other to make a great mash up.

Taylor Olson is becoming well-known on Youtube for her cover video of Taylor Swift's "Safe and Sound", the official movie soundtrack of "The Hunger Games". Her video has received nearly 300,000 views on Youtube despite her not yet having a large subscriber base.
