Fuugo, the leading Cloud OTT Orchestration platform provider, announced that services from StackPath, a secure edge services platform, have been fully integrated to the industry's first OTT orchestration platform: Fuugo Symphony.
Fuugo Symphony, the recently launched OTT Orchestration platform, aims to simplify the complexity of integrating OTT services by solving the interoperability of best-of-breed technology providers. By integrating StackPath content delivery network (CDN) services, OTT broadcasters gain access to StackPath's high performing, global network in an integrated manner.
"Access to easy-to-use, reliable, and high-performing service providers, through a single-user interface, are the core-values of Fuugo Symphony," said Robert Gribnau, CEO of Fuugo. "By adding StackPath's global CDN, our clients can now also rely on Symphony to quickly and safely deliver their content, to any device, across any region."
Fuugo Symphony has pre-integrated best-of-breed service providers, each aiming to solve a part of the complexity surrounding going OTT. The platform covers the entire OTT service chain, from encoding, transcoding, content management and delivery to analytics and application publishing, all powered by industry's leading technologies.
"For a broadcaster, managing your entire OTT need, from ingest, to play-out, using a single user-interface, is what we have designed Fuugo Symphony to solve," said Nelson Hulett, VP Marketing and Product at Fuugo. "Ultimately it is up to the customer who they want to work with, based on either preference, or technical requirements. Our platform provides the flexibility to add functionality on the back-end, through our central API-Director, and expose those service provider-specific functions to the UI."
In 2017 StackPath acquired Highwinds, an industry-leading global CDN service, to create a single global platform with the industry's best security and performance features. Highwinds' unique experience, impressive customer roster, and talented employees made this merger a success. Now StackPath has become one of the top vendors in the market, and has more than 1 million customers worldwide.
"We are excited for StackPath to be included in Fuugo Symphony," said Steven Canale, Chief Revenue Officer at StackPath. "Simplifying the integration of all the components necessary to run a successful OTT operation will greatly help a broadcaster to go to market more quickly and easily, with a drastically lower budget."
Integration of StackPath services to Fuugo Symphony has reinforced Fuugo´s concept of partnering with best-of-the-breed technology providers. All the features and capabilities of StackPath are available through Fuugo Symphony. Customers can rely on secure and fast content delivery powered by StackPath.
