Spoiler Alert: X FACTOR Season 3 Top 16 Revealed!

According to MJSBigblog, the Top 16 X FACTOR contestants have been selected from an initial group of 40 contestants. The singers were chosen in front of a live audience in Los Angeles on Sunday and Monday.
In addition to revealing the Top 16, the site also unveiled new rules for the upcoming season. The live round in Los Angeles took the place of the boot camp and judges houses rounds of past seasons. Contestants did attend a Boot-like Camp session several weeks ago but were immediately informed that that stage of the competition was cancelled. The over 200 hopefuls were then gathered on stage where the Top 40 was announced. There will also be a twist in the live Final rounds of the new season. According to the report, "if a singer was safe after a performance, their mentor asked them to take a seat on stage. However, if the mentor liked another singer better later on in the round, they could eliminate a contestant already declared safe to make room for the new contestant."1) Carlito Olivero
