Splice Records is thrilled to announce their fourth annual River Revival Music Fest the weekend of Sept. 27 - 30, 2018 along the Guadalupe River at the KL Ranch Camp "On the River" and "Cliffside"campgrounds in quaint and quiet New Braunfels, Texas. In collaboration with St. Arnold's Brewery, River Revival was created as a place for music lovers to share great times, music, memories and camaraderie, while enjoying the beauty the Texas hill country has to offer alongside the mighty Guadalupe River. Splice Records is excited to announce that the annual fest has now expanded to three full days of music, camping, nature, floating and fun! Another very exciting addition to the fest is the new food program presented by Houston-based Chef Adam Dorris(of Presidio, Pax Americana). Chef Dorris will be bringing his culinary expertise to the campgrounds to provide breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night snacks to festival goers with the purchase of their all-inclusive festival ticket.

"Having Adam Dorris, his team and his food trucks handling over 3,000 meals served is no simple feat," said Splice Founder and Owner, Shaun Brennan. "It is a task he is willing to handle and we are honored to have him. I am always excited to see the people, to listen to the bands but this year there will be a cooking display put on like no other seen before on the River Revival 'Lawn.' The food program at River Revival is unique in comparison to other Texas festivals in the fact that all the meals are complementary and communal. We wanted our festival to stand out by replicating camping trips I took as a kid, when coolers were open to everyone and the meals were made, served and ate together as one big happy family."

In addition to the food program, River Revival will be announcing their phenomenal music line up on Monday, Aug. 6. The fest features music genres such as folk, Americana, rock 'n' roll, honky-tonk, Latin rock, funkadelic, zydeco, soul and Texas roots music. Tickets go on sale on Monday, July 16 and can be purchased here. Tickets are all-inclusive and will be priced at $275 for a three-day pass, $195 for a two-day pass and $100 for a one-day pass. Vendor and sponsorship opportunities are available. If interested, please contact Splice Records at splicerecordsllc@gmail.com. For more information, please see here.

Each year River Revival draws in more than 1,000 conscious campers, all gathered to partake in a variety of activities geared towards bringing people together for a good time. Activities such as intimate campfire concerts, hiking, river floating, canoeing, various workshops, morning yoga sessions, kids music class, activities and puppet shows, natural live art exhibits by Journey Through, fire dancing, One Pot Cooking Competition, River Revival giveaways and prizes and so much more.

Whether you camp every weekend or you have never slept in a tent before, River Revival offers a bright light departure with carefully curated artists to enhance everyone's experience. The design of the festival was created with adults in mind, though children under 10 can get in free and are welcome to attend. Families with children will be assigned a campsite in the family area or across the street at the quieter K&L Cliffside.

About Adam Dorris:

After escaping the culinary desert of northern Oklahoma and planting roots in Houston, TX in his mid-20s, chef Adam Dorris changed careers and pursued his passion of cooking and hospitality in the city's bustling new dining landscape. Over the past decade Chef Dorris has worked through some of the city's top kitchens, eventually creating his own highly successful concepts. He began his journey at downtown Houston's Four Seasons Hotel as a morning prep and breakfast cook while attending the Art Institute of Houston. He then developed his skills at the highly regarded Voice, the popular gastropub Branch Water Tavern, and the Italian inspired Stella Sola where he held the title of Chef de Cuisine. During this time, Chef Dorris created the legendary Ghetto Dinner pop-up series at Grand Prize Bar serving fine dining food on paper plates to the masses. After leading the kitchen at the Heights institution, Revival Market and creating another successful year long dinner series, Dorris left to create his first restaurant, the hyper-seasonal Pax Americana. Pax-Am immediately garnished rave reviews both locally and nationally, landing on GQ's Top 5 Best New Restaurants of 2014, number three on Alison Cook's Top 100 Houston Restaurants, and Houston Press #1 New Restaurant of 2014. In 2017 Dorris and his business partner, Taylor Lee, created Loving Cup Hospitality and the casual restaurant, Presidio, in the historic Houston Heights neighborhood. At Presidio, the chef continues to champion local farmers, ranchers, and artisans with his ever-evolving seasonal menus in a relaxed and approachable setting for any occasion.

About Splice Records:

Splice Records was founded in 2014 by a Texas businessman and film producer Shaun Brennan, along with Houston musician and philosopher Craig Kinsey, who fronted the wildly popular and award-winning band The Sideshow Tramps. The pair celebrated the partnership in July 2014 during a sold-out soft launch at Houston's legendary Fitzgerald's for the release of Kinsey's "American Roots & Machines" album. Kinsey and Brennan continue to expand the label by signing Pecos Hank Schyma, John Evans, Ancient Cat Society and Arthur Yoria.
