Southern Pop's Newest Powerhouse Trio Sir Rosevelt Share SOMETHING BOUT YOU Video Image

Southern Pop's newest powerhouse trio, Sir Rosevelt, has been making waves worldwide since their first release "Sunday Finest," which Rolling Stone lauded as a "dancefloor-ready tune that merges gospel with funk, big band jazz, Seventies disco, caffeinated R&B and, yes, a little bit of country." Today, the trio shares their cinematic, globe-trekking music video for "Something 'Bout You" - WATCH HERE.

Complementing the song's universal appeal, clips from the video were filmed all over the globe, and together provide gorgeous visuals for a stunning video that captures the track's feel-good vibe perfectly.

Comprised of Zac Brown, Niko Moon and Ben Simonetti, their self-titled debut album (buy/stream) is a mix of pop, dance, acoustic instrumentation and southern sensibility. Ahead of the album's release through the venerable Elektra Records in mid-December, the band shared "For My Own" (co-written with 10x Grammy Award winner Pharrell Williams), as well as "Something 'Bout You" and "The Bravest" (both co-produced by Timbaland).

"Something 'Bout You" has been on the rise ever since, with the single amassing millions of streams globally and averaging a million streams per week. The song is also receiving airplay from Country Radio, including The Bobby Jones Show, SiriusXM The Highway, WKLB, WBWL and more.

Beyond "Something 'Bout You," "The Bravest" was announced this week as the official song of Fox Sports South + Fox Sports Southeast's "April in the ATL" campaign - watch announcement here! The track also received high-profile syncs during Westwood One's Super Bowl 52 Pregame Radio Broadcast, and was featured on WWE 24 WrestleMania, ESPN, and MLB Tonight: Top 50 Prospects Show.

The trio's 2016 debut single "Sunday Finest" was featured prominently throughout coverage of the 2017 NBA All-Star Game. The television debut of the single came via the group's high-energy performance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

In December, the band was ESPN's featured artist with "The Bravest" and "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us" highlighted throughout the network's programming.

About Sir Rosevelt:

The origins of Sir Rosevelt - the album and the trio itself - can be traced to Brown, Moon, and Simonetti's experience working together on the 2015 Zac Brown Band release, JEKYLL + HYDE. Tapping into their creative synchronicity, the ZBB tour bus became their 'studio.' Inspired by the full-throttle dynamics of dance music, and the elasticity of pop, the trio pulled influences from various musical styles and artists when writing and recording; the result is an album that is both utterly unique and remarkably cohesive, melding disparate influences into an innovative, up-to-the-minute, brand of Southern pop unlike anything else.
