Sony/ATV Music Publishing has promoted both Danielle Middleton and Sam Reas to the role of Manager, A&R, based in the company's New York office.

Having joined Sony/ATV in 2014, Middleton most recently served as Senior Coordinator in the company's A&R department, while Reas started at Sony/ATV in 2015 as Administrative Assistant. Both report to SVP, Head of East Coast A&R Rich Christina.

Sony/ATV Co-President, U.S. Danny Strick said: "In their time at Sony/ATV Sam and Danielle have shown a strong passion for artist discovery and writer development, which are qualities so vital to our business. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to support and encourage executive talent within your own ranks, which is why I am so excited about this announcement. These promotions will give them both the opportunity to continue to grow at Sony/ATV."

After working at BMI and interning at Redlight Management, Danielle Middleton joined Sony/ATV in New York as receptionist in 2014, oversaw the company's social media initiatives and joined the creative team where she rose to the role of Senior Coordinator.

Among the roster of songwriters and producers she works with are Clicknpress (Chris Brown, J.Cole), Swagg (H.E.R., Kehlani, Alicia Keys), Kim Vierra (Daddy Yankee, Pitch Perfect), Corey Chorus (Demi Lovato, Rihanna), Nikki Vianna and Bkorn (DJ Khaled, Travis Scott).

Sam Reas joined Sony/ATV in New York in 2015 as Creative Assistant to SVP, Head of East Coast A&R Rich Christina. She has spent the last three years working closely with his roster and has been imperative to the team's success. Her most recent signing is Nashville-based pop artist Stela Cole whose first single was recently released by RCA.

In her new role Reas will additionally liaise with the Nashville music community on behalf of Sony/ATV's non-country writers while continuing to work with talent including JR Rotem (Fall Out Boy, Gwen Stefani, Keith Urban), Sam Fischer (Clean Bandit, Jennifer Hudson), Brett McLaughlin a.ka. Leland (Kelsea Ballerini, Daya, Selena Gomez, Troye Sivan), Geoff Warburton (Shawn Mendes) and newer signings.
