Songs From Pages: A New Musical Performed At Bruno Walter Auditorium

Arts and Artists at St. Paul will continue its Songbook concert series on Monday, March 28th at 6PM at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. The concert will be held in the Bruno Walter Auditorium - 111 Amsterdam Avenue - just south of 65th Street. This month's concert will feature the songs from Pages: A New Musical with Music and Lyrics by Will Van Dyke and Book and Lyrics by Josh Halloway. Performers for this concert include Michael Hunsaker (Listen to My Heart, My Deah, The Odyssey, Ragtime, Chess;TV: "Ed", "Sex & the City", "As the World Turns" and "All My Children"), Victoria Matlock (Million Dollar Quartet, Wicked (Elphaba), Evita, The Full Monty, The Marvelous Wonderettes), and Derek St. Pierre (Rock of Ages (Franz)). The concert will also feature David Fallo (viola), Allison Seidner (cello) and David Mancuso (drums).

The Songbook Series is produced, directed by Erica Ruff and hosted by John Znidarsic. Admission is FREE and seating is on a first come-first serve basis.

Will Van Dyke is a New York based composer/lyricist. His work has been celebrated by critics and fans alike for his unique musical voice. A contemporary pop/rock composer with complex modern flavors, his music is "achingly vulnerable and real," (Rob Lester, Cabaret Scenes) and "has the heart and fireworks you'd expect from a young, ambitious composer." (James Rickman, Beacon Pass) As a composer, Will's work has been heard in "Pages," "Winnie The Pooh, KIDS!," "The Girls I've Like Liked," "Where The Blue Grass Grows," "That Pageant Show," "We Three Kings," and "The Grass Is Always Greener." His songs have been performed at venues all over the country from Joe's Pub to Lincoln Center. Upcoming works include "Leonardo's Ring" and "The Gospel According To Stevie B." Will's debut album, "Chasing The Day," features the vocals of some of today's brightest Broadway talent and performances by several New York based singer/songwriters. Will also co-wrote, arranged, and co-produced the songs on Matt Doyle's debut EP. www.willvandyke.com

Josh Halloway is a comedy writer/performer. Recent credits include: Girls I've LIKE Liked (Ars Nova), LOST: How A Certain TV Mega-Hunk Stole My Identity (Cherry Lane Theatre), The Revolution Will Be Televised (Commission, Hangar Theatre), and Ye Nightley Show With Sir London Laughingstocke (Upright Citizens Brigade). His work has been seen at such venues as the P.I.T., UCB, The Duplex, Don't Tell Mama, Naked Angels, Ars Nova, Comedy Central Stage, FringeNYC, and as part of the Nickelodeon Creative Lab. Upcoming projects include The Gospel According to Stevie B. (with frequent collaborator Will Van Dyke). He has also worked extensively in film, as a copywriter for some of your favorite movie trailers. Currently, Josh lives in Los Angeles, where he writes for ABC's Cougar Town.
