Today, Connecticut-based solo artist Jay Pray's revealed the latest single "I'm Sorry" off his self-titled debut LP due out March 3. Jay Pray (aka Justin P. Romanos) weaves vulnerable vocals between lush synths and texturized percussion, resulting in a sound that effortlessly accentuates the coolness of comfort on the edge of the unfamiliar. Justin's production is complemented by Electric Lady Studios' Brandon Bost (Lady Gaga, The Kills, Lucius). Listen to "I'm Sorry", shared by Earmilk today. We encourage you to post & share!
He honed his craft by continuously writing, and spent much of his time in the close knit Philadelphia basement community, where he fronted the indie rock band SHMNS. After graduating college in 2014, he moved back to Woodbury, CT to regroup, refocus, and reinvent himself as a musician. He spent the last two years writing and recording songs for this album as well as many, many others that may never see the light of day. Stay tuned for news about live dates!
