About the Episode:
On heels of the new DVD collection release "
Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances," which includes her rendition of "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" performed on the "Oprah" show in 2009, the legendary singer's sister-in-law
Pat Houston, who was her manager and best friend, provides an update on Whitney's daughter,
Bobbi Kristina, and how the Houston family is coping almost three years after Whitney's tragic death. Oprah interviews domestic abuse
SURVIVOR Susan Still and her youngest son seven years after they fled Susan's abusive husband, who had forced the couple's 13 year-old son to videotape a brutal verbal and physical attack.
The impact of the original interview on the "Oprah" show still resonates today, and together they reveal what they have done to heal, as well as expectations for the day when Susan's ex-husband and former abuser faces parole from prison. Then, at only 15 years of age, Niki Taylor was the youngest-ever model to grace the cover of Vogue, and had made her first million dollars before she was 17. Now a mother of four, Niki talks candidly, opening up about her past and the car crash that nearly took her life and resulted in 50+ surgeries, the huge personal loss of her younger supermodel sister, and how her life turned around in an instant when she met the man who would become her husband.
Up next, TV host Marc Summers shares his surprising rise to fame and his medical diagnosis that he battles every day. Plus, updates with the box office babies who starred in "Three Men and A Baby," and "Baby Boom," and the family who received an enormous gift from Simon Cowell to assist in their daughter's fight with cancer.
"Oprah: Where Are They Now?" is executive produced by Harpo Studios' Jill Van Lokeren, Julie Simpson and Veronica Votypka.
