Siri Music Group Premieres Miesa's Debut Single 'Antidote'

Fresh off the heels of her Vibe Vixen-sponsored performance, vocalist Miesa is gearing up for her highly-anticipated debut studio album, due out later this year. On March 13, Twitmusic (www.twitmusic.com) the leading Twitter platform for musicians and labels will premiere Miesa's debut single, "Antidote." Twitmusic has launched exclusives for artists as diverse as 30 Seconds to Mars, Christina Perri, Carly Rae Jepson, Brandy, Lil' Wayne, Cody Simpson, Miquel, and Alanis Morissette. Currently, 40 Billboard Hot 100 artists use Twitmusic to reach more than 200,000 users in more than 200 countries. Born in New Jersey, Miesa grew up in a diverse family rooted in music. "I grew up in a musical household, with my dad singing, but he also played the piano, guitar, bass and drums. I was always involved in the choir at school and band because I played the clarinet and the piano," the singer said. Miesa went on to work with the likes of Eric Hudson (Mary J. Blige, Rihanna) and Rich Harrison (Beyonce) but when she heard the JacksonCroft (Tamia, Jessica Simpson)-penned and The Chemistri (Deborah Cox, Kristinia Debarge)-produced first single played back in the studio, she knew "Antidote," would be the perfect introduction to her artistry. "I'm in love with harmonies and backgrounds that give music different dynamics. I just want people to experience what's in my heart and feel the music the way that I do."

The yet-to-be titled debut album will showcase the full scope of Miesa's musicianship, "This album has become a tour de force for the label and its team of writers and producers," Chauncy Jackson, President of Siri Music, said.
