Shooter Jennings Expands US Tour Ahead of New Album

Shooter Jennings is heralding his eagerly anticipated new album by adding new dates to his already wide-ranging "Bound Ta Git Down Tour." SHOOTER arrives at all music retailers and streaming services via Low Country Sound and Elektra Records on Friday, August 10.

"The Bound Ta Git Down Tour" includes headline shows, dates supporting Turnpike Troubadours, and festival performances including Black Mountain, NC's Jam In The Trees (August 25), Tahlequah, OK's Medicine Stone Festival (September 22), and Fort Worth, TX's KFWR Annual Ranch Bash (October 20). Among the new highlights will be a very special SHOOTER release day celebration at the world famous Pappy & Harriet's in Pioneertown, CA, set for Friday, August 10. Tunes like "Fast Horses & Good Hideouts" and the brass-fueled boogie-woogie of "Bound Ta Git Down" see Jennings affirming his mission by returning to country's original, if oft misplaced, mandate: singing songs about growing up and getting older, about going out and getting trashed.
