BIO:  Emmy® Award-winning Seth MacFarlane is an all-around entertainer best known as the creative force behind the television series FAMILY GUY.  He began his career studying animation and design at the Rhode Island School of Design.  His talent was eventually noticed by executives at FOX where they made an offer to MacFarlane to create a pilot of his own for the network.  Over the next six months, MacFarlane created, animated, wrote, directed and provided all the main male characters' voices for what became FAMILY GUY.  The seven-minute short was delivered in May 1998 and was picked up just weeks later. At twenty-four, MacFarlane was the youngest executive producer in television.

As FAMILY GUY progressed, MacFarlane went on to receive an Emmy Award for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance for his role as Stewie Griffin, and FAMILY GUY has garnered two nominations for Outstanding Animated Series.  In 2002, he also received an Emmy for Outstanding Music and Lyrics for FAMILY GUY. In 2009 FAMILY GUY became the only animated show since The Flintstones in 1961 to be nominated for a primetime Emmy in the Outstanding Comedy category. Previously, FAMILY GUY garnered three nominations for Outstanding Animated Series.

In addition to FAMILY GUY, MacFarlane also serves as co-creator/executive producer/voice actor on the FOX animated series AMERICAN DAD! and THE CLEVELAND SHOW.  He is also executive producing a 21st century version of the classic animated comedy, THE FLINTSTONES and COSMOS: A SPACE TIME ODYSSEY, a 13-part updated docu-series of Carl Sagan's iconic exploration of the universe as revealed by science. Both will be on the FOX schedule in 2013.

MacFarlane will make his directorial debut in the summer of 2012 with the live action and CG comedy, TED. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and MacFarlane as the voice of Ted.  MacFarlane also serves as one of the producers and writers.

MacFarlane is also an experienced live performer having played to sold out audiences at London's Royal Albert Hall and New York's Carnegie Hall.  His debut album, Music is Better than Words, released by Universal Republic, debuted at number 1 on the iTunes Jazz charts on September 27th, 2011 and received two Grammy nominations, including 'Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album."  It is a fully orchestrated album that features MacFarlane singing some of the hidden musical gems of the '40s and '50s.  Introducing this rich sound and classic integrity to a new audience, the album features duets with beloved artists Norah Jones and Sara Bareilles.

September marked MacFarlane's return as Roast Master for Comedy Central's Emmy-nominated Roast franchise.  He is the only three-time returning Roast Master.
