Scratch Massive Unveils Stunning New Music Video for LAST DANCE, Announce LP Image

Together as Scratch Massive, French duo Maud Geffray and Sébastien Chenut have been making electro-tinged slow-motion house since 1999. With multiple full-lengths and original soundtracks under their belt, these two have a knack for crafting moody, cinematic bangers. "Last Dance" fits this model to a tee with its slow burn and stunning video. Released today on bORDEL Records, "Last Dance" is the first taste of Scratch Massive's upcoming record GARDEN OF LOVE. In "Last Dance", Scratch Massive opens us up to a stunning cinematic world. The story takes place in a gigantic Asian megalopolis. We see a young man who is a member of a small local gang, accompanying his boss to racket a hotel owner in their territory. In the middle of this dark underworld, there lies a ray of light shining taking the form of a young ballerina. The young gangster is hit by her grace and instantly falls in love.

Here is what Director Jerome La Gerlache had to say about the video's inspiration,

"The song really was the cornerstone of this script. I had the idea the first time I listened to it. I wanted to tell a story of hope and with the powerful message that love can push us away from the darkest places. Her art saves the young ballerina from his condition in the hotel, letting her escape from her slavery position. Love helped the young man to take the decision to take the money and make a new life away from all this violent way of living he always hated."

Scratch Massive's upcoming record GARDEN OF LOVE will be available October 2018!
