With their stellar LP So Numb unleashed upon the world last August, genre-defying instrumental trio Sannhet are now conquering the open road. Beginning Saturday, November 11, Sannhet will embark on a brief East Coast tour alongside atmospheric rock group This Will Destroy You. Since 2010, Sannhet has crafted instrumental music that is both heavy and feathery, pictorial but intimate, dense yet minimal-a feat that should not be missed live.

Renowned for their bold sonic experiments and concept-driven albums, the Brooklyn trio has cemented their status as one of music's most enigmatic bands during their 7 years together. Sannhet's recently released third LP, So Numb, finds the band tackling themes like addiction and disaster one soundscape at a time. More thin-skinned and hot-blooded than ever, the trio manages to build a world from a grain of sand, crafting complex instrumental narratives. Additionally, Sannhet have recently reissued their long out-of-print debut album, Known Flood, via The Flenser. Originally released in 2013, Known Flood set the tone for the band's signature blend of instrumental transcendent black and post-metal.

Sannhet have always been a bit of an anomaly in their own craft. You could call them "post" something, "experimental metal," or "math rock," but no modifier could pay justice to the band's impeccable compositions. While they don't write lyrics, they do write subtexts. They pen love letters, extended epistles, and suicide notes, all without words. In their seven years together, Sannhet has toured the United States several times over with the likes of Liturgy, King Woman, A Place To Bury Strangers and more, and have played highly coveted sets at Basilica Sounscape, Northside Festival, Hopscotch Festival, Tinnitus Music Series, NXNE and so on.

So Numb is out now via Profound Lore and a full tour itinerary can be found below. Stay tuned for more updates.
