There is no slowing down for Sam Smith. He dropped a new song titled "Pray" Oct. 6 and announced his sophomore album "The Thrill of It" with a release date of Nov. 3.
Oh wait! There's even more good news! Smith announced his north american tour which kicks off in Toronto on June 18, 2018! Each ticket purchase will include a copy of the album.
"Pray" is an emotionally driven track in which he worked on with Timbaland. "I lift up my head and the world is on fire/ There's dread in my heart and fear in my bones/ And I just don't know what to say/ Maybe I'll pray, pray/ Maybe I'll pray," Smith sings in the chorus. It seems like the track is personal and he's talking to a higher power.
The singer/songwriter will be performing on the Oct. 7 episode of "Saturday Night Live." The lead single "Too Good At Goodbyes" from the upcoming sophomore album was released last month. Listen to the new track below:
