Australian-born, LA-based musician Sam Fischer has released his debut Not A Hobby EP today. The soul tinged, four-track collection is bolstered by the touches of Grammy-winning producer Warren "Oak" Felder (Alessia Cara, Kehlani, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj) among many others. The EP has garnered acclaim from the likes of NYLON, Billboard, and CLASH, while earning prominent placement on Spotify's New Music Friday playlists.
Not A Hobby gives fans a first look at the talents of the Berklee trained musician who dove head-first into the music scene in 2014 as a vocalist for HOLYCHILD. A prolific songwriter, Fischer's talents have led him to co-write for the likes of DJ Mustard, Clean Bandit, Sabrina Claudio, and Jennifer Hudson. Following the release of his debut single "Lean" in 2016, which premiered with Stereogum and garnered over 300,000 streams, Fischer was featured on Opia's "Secrets," amassing over 1 million streams. Not A Hobby establishes Sam Fischer as an artist in his own right and signals big things to come in 2018. Stay tuned!Website | Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | YouTube | Soundcloud | Spotify
