The ongoing critically acclaimed variety show, Cabinet of Wonders, hosted by celebrated author and singer/songwriter Wesley Stace, is partnering with award-winning news and culture site Salon to distribute their content to Salon's audience of 17.6 million unique monthly visitors. The podcasts, presented weekly starting today, will be featured on Salon.com and will be promoted via banners on the site and dedicated emails to Salon's readers.

For the shows, Stace -- formerly known by his stage name John Wesley Harding -- brings together collaborators from the worlds of music, literature and comedy. Since its inauguration in 2009, Cabinet of Wonders has established itself in New York, and on tour around the U.S., as an exciting stage for both prominent and emerging voices in music, literature and comedy. Stace originally conceived Cabinet of Wonders as a way to bring together his creative friends; he handpicks the performers and facilitates unusual collaborations for each show, managing to weave the diverse lineup into an unforgettable and highly entertaining experience. Formerly recorded and broadcast nationwide by NPR, Cabinet of Wonders' past guests include a who's who of great performers: Fred Armisen, Aaron Neville, Fountains of Wayne, John Oliver, Edie Brickell, Rosanne Cash, Ted Leo, Josh Ritter, The Punch Brothers, Sherman Alexie, Peter Carey, Mary Gaitskill and many more.

"Salon is proud to partner with Cabinet of Wonders on this podcast," says Salon's Editor-in-Chief Dave Daley. "Since 2009, Wesley Stace has curated the best variety show in America, featuring hundreds of pioneering musicians, writers and comedians. We think that the format and talent will be well received by our devoted readers and are honored to swing open the Cabinet doors to a wide audience and archive this amazing artistic genius."
