Saint Paul Conservatory of Music Schedules Halloween Concert

The Saint Paul Conservatory of Music will hold its Halloween Concert from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at McNally Smith Auditorium, 19 East Exchange St., St. Paul.

The Halloween Concert is one of the biggest community events of the year for the Saint Paul Conservatory of Music. To celebrate the holiday, students and parents come in costume. Conservatory students and faculty play wonderful music to entertain the crowd and promote a festive Halloween atmosphere.The concert is followed by a reception with treats and kids activities.

Featured performers at the Halloween Concert include the Suzuki strings, the Renaissance Band, pianist Gideon Scheeler, the SPCM Children Choir and more. Pianist Gideon Scheeler, student of SPCM faculty Elena Piastro and Peter Arnstein, was the winner of the 2013 Minnesota State Fair Pre-Teen Talent Show.

There is no cost for the concert, though donations to Music for All, the Conservatory's outreach program, are encouraged. SPCM welcomes the entire community to come to McNally Smith Auditorium and check out these talented performers and their costumes.
