SWMRS Release New Song TRASHBAG BABY Off Forthcoming Sophomore Album

Oakland, CA rock quartet SWMRS have released "Trashbag Baby", the third song off their forthcoming sophomore album Berkeley's On Fire. The track, which sees SWMRS co-frontmen Cole and Max Becker share lead vocal duties, is available to stream and download now HERE.
"Trashbag Baby" follows current single "April In Houston" as the album's second consecutive song to premiere on BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac's Hottest Record. In her exclusive interview with Cole Becker, Mac also announced that SWMRS will perform live on BBC Radio 1 from London's historic Maide Vale Studios this Wednesday, January 16. Fans can tune in at 8:00pm GMT to hear the performance.
Berkeley's On Fire was produced by Rich Costey (Muse, Death Cab for Cutie) and is due for release on February 15th via Fueled By Ramen. The album is available for pre-order now HERE and limited edition merch bundles are available exclusively via the SWMRS online store HERE. Fans who pre-order the album now will receive immediate downloads of "Trashbag Baby", "April In Houston", and previously released track "Berkeley's On Fire".
Last week SWMRS announced a massive North American headline tour in support of Berkeley's On Fire that will kick off on March 28th in San Diego, CA and wrap on May 3rd in Los Angeles, CA. Southern California rock bands The Regrettes and Beach Goons will provide support. Tickets for the tour are available now HERE. SWMRS will be donating $1 per ticket sold to organizations working on the frontlines of climate, racial, economic, and gender justice issues through their newly established SWMRS Fund. Prior to their North American tour, SWMRS will embark on a tour of Europe and the United Kingdom that will kick off on February 23rd in Barcelona, Spain and wrap on March 16th in London, United Kingdom. Comprised of Cole Becker (vocals/guitar), Max Becker (vocals/guitar), Joey Armstrong (drums), and Seb Mueller (bass), SWMRS released their debut album Drive North in 2016 via their own Uncool Records before signing with Fueled By Ramen (Twenty One Pilots, Panic! At The Disco, Paramore) who later re-released it. Drive North was praised by outlets including Rolling Stone, Noisey, Buzzfeed, and Billboard, and saw the band make their network television debut on CBS's The Late Late Show with James Corden. SWMRS toured extensively in support of the album, and joined bands including FIDLAR, Wavves, Blink 182, Green Day, and All Time Low on stages around the world. Drive North has blared through hometown games of the Oakland A's and San Jose Earthquakes, and through Saint Laurent's runway during Paris Fashion Week.
