Prince sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. He won seven Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe, and an Academy Award. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, the first year of his eligibility. Rolling Stone ranked Prince at number 27 on its list of THE 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
Prince passed away at age 57 this past Thursday, April 21st.
Springsteen is widely known for his lyrics which depict the American working class, as well as his marathon, energetic stage performances, sometimes running over three hours.
Among his most successful albums are Born in the U.S.A. Born to Run has sold more than 64 million albums in the United States and more than 120 million records worldwide, making him one of the world's best-selling artists of all time. He has earned 20 Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes and an Academy Award as well as being inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.
